Smart Building integrators, electricians, technicians, installers, IT professionals specialising in buildings, and engineering design offices.
Basic IT knowledge is required. The "Smart Building: Fundamentals & Architectures" course is recommended but not mandatory.
The network infrastructure of connected systems: TCP/IP and addressing, switching, VLANs and segmentation, PoE, Wi-Fi and connected devices, diagnostics and troubleshooting, cybersecurity. The course ends with a hands-on network configuration workshop.
2 days, or 14 hours.
The theory modules can be taken remotely. The hands-on network configuration workshop takes place in person.
An ExaBuilding training certificate: IP Networks for Smart Building. Assessment is based on practical exercises and a case study. It is not an official certification exam.
